Since buying my own striped skirt by Bordeaux at Anthropologie, I don’t believe that all stripes on “the bottom” are bad. If they’re strictly horizontal, then yes, they won’t be good on anyone with curves, but nowadays, designers are making striped skirts interesting – and flattering. Like this one by Argentinian designer, Mishka, at Opening Ceremony. (it’s also not a bad price at $130)
