Jewelry trends come and go, but I’ve never really been one to pay a lot of attention. While I do have kind of a schizophrenic jewelry style – it ranges from bold to delicate – I generally stick to pieces that are simple and that I can keep on all the time (like my Tina Tang necklace and Melissa Joy Manning earrings). I love it when “delicate” is “trendy” because it means there are more pieces to choose from, but I can’t resist the call of a sturdy cuff or a shiny boho bracelet:
earthy:
Sarsen necklace | $428 at Anthropologie
The rebel necklace | $460 at Lizzie Fortunato
BOLD:
Melvin ram’s head cuff | $225 at Hampden Clothing after GRECHEN20 code
Ugo Cacciatori wolf ring | $585 at Forzieri
geometric:
Ariel Gordon cube necklace | $217 at Goldyn after GOLDYN25 code for 1st time customers
Jennifer Fischer brass hexagon cuff | $300 at Barney’s
Mociun triangle earrings | $455 at Mociun
shiny:
Antik Batik golden beads bracelet | $48 at Forzieri
Iosselliani Jewelry stacker ring set | $220 after grechen20 code at Azalea
delicate:

What’s your jewelry style? do you have a “signature” look? or do you like to play around?
I would say my style has adapted a lot over the years, depending on what I was wearing at the time and what size I was. I’ve gone through a “tiny, personal” jewelry phase, but it just gets lost on me because I’m tall and not thin. If I do wear my special pieces, like my Helen Ficalora initial necklace, I usually layer it with something else a bit larger. I am really into statement necklaces or earrings. Never both at the same time, but I find that it takes away a lot of the confusion about what goes with what and saves me time. And then I tend to throw on a cuff and my watch. That’s it.
