I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend – it’s been hotter here than ALL SUMMER, so I’m just not in the mood for fall shopping, but I did get a peek a some new fall Eileen Fisher arrivals at Neiman Marcus this weekend, and they are STUNNING. I’m really falling for the outerwear this season; the jackets, the sweaters…it’s all exactly what I want to wear. And those ankle boots? Might be PERFECT. I’ll have to try them on.

Isn’t this season fabulous?? I picked up those chunky black booties too; they’re so cool. And a longer sleeve asymmetric top. Saw a dark pumpkin jacket at Neiman’s yesterday that was SO tempting. Have my eye on a few more pieces too. đ

yeah. i’m pretty sure i’d wear that silk tunic ALL THE TIME. the problem is that when i saw it in person it’s quite long/large, so it might not work for me. the silk tank with the same print isn’t as long or large, so i might end up with that one. when/if it goes on sale…wish the prices were lower…
I have to say, I discovered Eileen Fisher clothes years ago and bought a slew of them. Then, I decided they weren’t my style and, honestly, they felt a little boxy to me. But, I’ve always adored the fabric choices, shades, textures, and quality, not to mention their ad campaigns. I received a mailer last week, and I’ve pinned it to my “inspiration board!” Can’t stop looking at it; it is sublime! With all that inspiration, I think it is time to re-embrace this gorgeous line! I also love your “stamp of approval!” This does influence me:)

I absolutely love the shibori tunic. I keep hoping I can find something similar at a lower price but nothing is quite as good.
I’m with you and Sarge on this…the best piece is that Shibori Tunic! (very Raquel Allegra/Rabens Saloner). And I love the booties that you highlighted. I am thinking I need (yes, need đ ) black booties. I bought a pair last year by OTBT but they feel too clunky and heavy for my feet. Have you ever had that happen? I think I want to see it all in person, and there’s a really nice Eileen Fisher boutique in East Hampton. I get “personalized treatment” there, so it’s kind of nice!
Luckilly Eileen Fisher gets marked down fairly quickly at the Dillard’s I shop at. I have several of the new pieces picked out!
yeah, that’s the problem….there are enough “similar” pieces, but nothing quite the same. unfortunately, it’s perfect. maybe she does F&F?? 30% off?? *dreaming*
