And that caftan…let’s be real. But the pants! Take a look at the new Emerson Fry wrap pants (in black, RED, and white crackle). You can wear them tied a la paper-bag waist, or folded over for a more “crisp” look; I’m always a fan of multi-functional clothing. And even though I’m not into red, I love that they did a bright color, I think the pant translates well in red!
The Frenchie pant also, comes in white, but not WHITE white, which I love. It’s called “white shadow” and it has gray wash accents for a really nice casual, but cool look. I can totally get behind these white pants…
More dresses & skirts though – I love the tie-up dress that you can cinch on the sides to make it knee-length if you want, or keep it long. And the midi wrap skirt?? HUGE fan.
Finally, a word on the shoes, the Emerson slides specifically. They’re starting to sell out in several sizes, so if you want a pair NOW (they’ll re-stock), get them soon. I can’t say enough amazing things about the slides. I’m wearing them now, and I wore them yesterday. I’ll be wearing them for the foreseeable future, weather permitting. (mine were a gift from Emerson Fry, I took my true size 8/38 and they fit beautifully after a little wearing around the house).
I’ll be receiving more from Emerson Fry to review soon! In the meantime, tell me, what do you love from spring?

I’m confused, according to the website the wrap pants are made in India.
Yes. You’re right. Will edit that! I didn’t look closely enough. I assumed everything was made in the US
I adore everything IN the Emerson Fry lookbook! Especially the fold over pants, the sweaters, the slides (!!!) and the clean, modern look of their clothes. I’ve had the slides on a Wishlist for quite a while, in Python. Do you know if they ever do a “Friends and Family” discount?
Yes. They always do something for Black Friday. Not sure about before.
Oh man, some of those dresses are calling my name…the prices, however, are making me hesitate on adding anything to my cart.
I have one thing from Emerson Fry and it’s the linen tee. I went back and forth so many times on whether I was crazy to spend that much on a tee but I do love it. It has a nice weight to it, the sleeves are a perfect length, the v makes it a bit sexy. So I’m tempted to buy the black version and probably the storm lol.
Thx! Totally worth it, even without a discount. (Stuff from the outlet always seems to go super fast!)
I would sure like the linen dress, and the wrap skirt! And the linen tank, the linen tee and frenchie pants, haha. I’ve been crazy about that stud belt since last fall but am shy about ordering. I am on strict budget cuts right now, so am not sure if I can swing anything. I’d like to hear about their return policy…I would feel better if I learned that they expect people to try things on and return what doesn’t fit. I had a bad experience with James Perse last time around after being careful to ask all sorts of size questions before purchase. I can’t afford to keep making mistakes. EF does a great job of pictures, but I do wish I could see what the waistline is like on the wrap skirt. Can’t wait to see what you show us from their collection.
They don’t do a ton of sales, but it’s worth checking in the “ends” section of the site for markdowns too.
They offer free exchanges and returns–and it’s such a small company they are very helpful. I’ve returned things to them and it’s been very easy.
I love the way the wrap pants look, but have finally accepted that pants that add any kind of bulk around the stomach area don’t do me any favors. 😉
Again, I’m looking forward to seeing how things look on “normal” people–especially since they’re online only and it’s not as easy to try on several different sizes.
oh! that’s one of my favorite EF things – that linen tee – it looks like such an amazing fit. and i LOVE linen tees for summer…
Thanks, Jen! I’ll keep an eye open.
ha! that’s how i feel!! i love everything…
yes, i always love their pictures too, but there are a few things missing, like waistlines. i did notice they’re doing more images on white backgrounds though, which i think is helpful.
I don’t have a lot of knowledge about Emerson Fry and their clothing, but wow – that collection of images you’ve assembled could easily have been my summer wardrobe! The silhouettes and styles are very much what I aspire to. I’ll have to check if they ship internationally, though I think their price point is a little to high for my current budget. But oh, such lovely clothes!
Have you tried on the Frenchie? We’re about the same size and curious what you size worked for you ?
I haven’t tried them yet, becky, but I think they’re going to send me a pair to try! Stay tuned!!
