What are you ordering?? I’m not sure what I’m ordering yet…I have this sweatshirt in size 1, the Auburn color, in my cart, with the sheer slub crew, vapor, size 2, and the high gauge relaxed tank in size 1.Β So far.
Hi Grechen, thanks for this sale! I’m interested in all things cashmere, as they look like great pieces that arent bulky and will be great for travel. Do you have specific links to your JP cashmere reviews, especially the shawl collar coat/cardigan?
Hey! Any feedback on their shoes/mules? I love the look of the mules and loafers, but am wondering about fit and comfort. Thank you π
i have had (and returned) two pairs of shoes, the scuba sneakers with the low vamp and some slides. both of them were NOT leather and i think the non-stretchiness of the fabric/material was the problem; they were tight on top of my feet. that said both pairs seemed to run true to size and were really comfortable otherwise!! I love the mules/loafers and the espadrilles π i just wouldn’t recommend any of the non-leather shoes. which is a shame π
i don’t think i did a formal review, but the only JP cashmere i have is that cardigan/coat and i’ve had it for more than a year. I wear it ALL THE TIME when it’s cold. i do have to de-pill it frequently, or just not GAF, because it does pill quite a bit. BUT, it’s super-warm (i always travel with it) and not flimsy at all. very cozy, easy to wear, and washes really well (I wash on delicate with the laundress wool/cashmere shampoo)
i wouldn’t recommend it at full price, but sale price, definitely π i was a little disappointed with it at first, because of what I paid for it, but over time, it’s proved to be quite the workhorse, and i like the “lived in” look. it doesn’t look shabby by any means.
i like it better than everlane cashmere for sure – it’s more substantial and luxurious.
here are a couple of outfits (I have the size 2): http://grechenscloset.com/outfit-holiday-party/

I’m sad that cashmere dress only goes to size 3 (37″ bust – NOT gonna work) because I love it! Though it’s not the best color for me, so maybe it’s for the best that it won’t fit me π
What colour is “crush” in the slug long-sleeve tee? Pink? So hard to tell on the screen.
i haven’t seen it in person, but to me it looks like a peachy pink. if you look at it in the short-sleeved version and scroll through some of the other colors, you can get a better feel for what the color really is IMO
Thank you for sharing! I’ve bought more JP lately, used to be a strictly T buyer but now have a few dresses and a pant. I have the spiral seam dress you’ve included above and love it! I took a 3 (I’m about an 8P, 29 jean, 140 lbs, 5’1″, DD – just in case that helps anyone). I am not thin and have a belly but the cut on the waist is very flattering. It is on the longer side for my height. Love the skinny open back but the final sale has my hesitating, not sure if I would do a 3 or should go with a 2, leaning toward the 3.
Oh thanks for the feedback on the spiral seam dress! I love my skirt and am tempted by the dress…with regard to the open back dress, itβs very forgiving I found. I think you could go with either size but sometimes I wish I had the size 1 instead of the 2. Just so itβs a bit snugger up top
