Okay..here we are. I’m sad to do this, but I really haven’t worn most of these Inhabit sweaters in a while, and a couple, never. Everything is size large (but Inhabit in general fits true to small IMO):
left to right:
Inhabit cotton v-neck sweater |dusty rose color, last seen here
Inhabit Cotton crew neck sweater | brown/olive – VERY dark, almost black looking, but not quite
Inhabit cotton cardigan | yellow/beeswax (seen here, another stock photo of the cardigan here)
Inhabit cotton cardigan | brown
Inhabit 30% cotton/70% linen sweater | dark gray/brown – long, with longer hem on the left side & ruching. back seam
Inhabit cotton cardigan |light grayish cream
Inhabit cotton cardigan | rust/reddish-brown
Inhabit 100% cashmere drape cardigan | cream
The color representation on my screen is pretty accurate, but if you know Inhabit, you know that the colors & descriptions of the colors are always just a bit “off” – or they used to be anyway! You really never knew what you were getting until it arrived. I was always happy with the colors I choose, but since I’ve started purging everything that’s not white, gray or black, I really need to pass these on.
Everything is in very good shape, but most items are at least 4-5 years old. The only thing I really ever wore very much was the yellow cardigan. The linen/cotton sweater is relatively new, and I think I only wore it once. It looks a little worse for the wear because it’s mostly linen, but it’s a great sweater, interesting shape, and long enough for me to wear with leggings.
Also, in case you’re not very familiar with Inhabit, all the cotton pieces are “inside-out” in that the seams are on the outside of the sweater. Just FYI. I also find the sweaters to fit just a bit snug in the arms and in general. All of the cotton pieces are meant to FIT. The linen/cotton sweater is a roomier fit than the others.
The cashmere cardigan is draped, and longer in the front than in the back. It’s a very lightweight cashmere; perfect for moderate climates, and fits really nicely actually, but the sleeves are SOOOOOO long!! All sleeves are long on me, but these are exceptionally so. Which means I never really wore it very often. But it does have some pilling and wrinkling.
I’ve handwashed everything over the years, and like I mentioned before, they’re all in very good shape. The cream and brown cardigans each had one teeny tiny barely even noticeable snag on them, but other than that, I couldn’t find anything very glaringly wrong on any of the other pieces.
Sadly, Inhabit hasn’t done their “essential cotton cardigan” or basic cotton sweaters in a while, so I can’t link you to a current version. I would definitely purchase a black one if they did still make them! I think I’ll seek it out on eBay…
I’m asking for $20 each for the cotton pieces (including the linen/cotton sweater), and $30 for the cashmere cardigan. I’ll ship USPS priority mail, so please add $5 for shipping. If you want multiple items, I’ll only ask for shipping once.
Please let me know if you have any questions about anything or if you’re interested! Leave a comment with your question and I’ll reply, or contact me via email (grechen-at-grechenmedia.com)
Enjoy!!
Hi Grechen – I might be interested in the cashmere drape cardi. Do you think the sleeves are hemmable?
