The No6 clog boots were all the rage last Fall/Winter and they’re not going anywhere this year…I’m still tossing around whether or not to get a pair, but I’m certain if I do, I’ll go for No6. I have multiple pairs of clogs from both Swedish Hasbeens and No6, but when considering which brand to buy next, No6 wins hands down – mostly because of how comfortable each pair has been, right out of the box. My No6 clogs also seem to be lighter weight than my Swedish Hasbeens – and I love the unique styles.
For comparison’s sake, here is a similar style by both brands:
Swedish Hasbeens at endless.com (they have a coupon code valid through Wednesday, check it out at grechenscodes.com) – $399
No6 – $395
No6 clogs are harder to order (you have to e-mail them), but they come to you directly from the factory and the company is wonderful to deal with. On the other hand though, it’s pretty easy to find a coupon code or sale on Swedish Hasbeens, and nearly impossible for No6. I think the quality of both brands is comparable, but at this point, I just have a preference for No6.
What do you think? Have you tried both brands? Which do you prefer? Will you be getting a pair of clog boots this season?
I haven’t tried either brand, but I must admit, I am more and more drawn to them and a pair of short boots is on my list for fall/winter. Pretty appealing…
You can also buy No6 clogs here: shopbird.com, a brick and mortar and online boutique based in Brooklyn…
I’ve tried both boots, and I agree with you about no. 6 boots (all of their clogs, really.) They were comfy right out of the box. The Hasbeens were a little narrow for me (I have wide-ish feet). But the leather was also stiffer. Plus there is literature in the Hasbeens box about how one must keep the wood dry blah blah blah. The no. 6 boots are fine in bad weather. Snow, rain, and all.
