In honor of our 5th Birthday and the upcoming holidays, I picked 5 of my favorite things to wear this season.
Working in the store gives me lots of opportunities to dress up or if I feel like it, dress down. I usually pick the former. I love wearing the trends, but in my own way. And I think it’s okay to wear multiple trends ie: a ladylike dress mixed with an animal print handbag is undeniably a “do”.
I love dresses and the new, but not so new, Peplum is one of my favorites. I think it says so many things: sexy, sophisticated, serious yet still playful. This Shoshanna Peplum is all of these things. I love that the grey color allows you to really play with color (I’m picturing citron come Spring)… or not. The season of black and gold has given new life to my love of statement jewelry. This black leather with gold metal cuff pairs beautifully with the GemmaRedux Mixa Necklace, a mix of gold and pewter links wrapped so perfectly that it looks chunky yet feels delicate. All of this works so well with the gorgeous lambskin black leather Treesje Crave bag with Gold studs. It’s so ladylike, yet the studs add a bit of edge- something I am always looking for in a bag. All of these pieces come together with must-have of the season: a Platform Pump. This square toe Pour La Victoire Irina Pump looks sky high, but the 1″ platform makes it super wearable.
These are 5 of my favorite things right now. Wear them together or wear them alone. I could make another 5 outfits if you gave me some skinny jeans, a white tee and a little jacket. 3 more things that I love!
