In addition to being a bag snob (see the previous post on Mulberry X Target), I might also classify myself as a nail polish snob. I’m never averse to trying different brands (I was wearing Essie’s “chinchilly” earlier this week), but I have found that for me personally, Chanel polish always goes on better and wears better than any other brand. And of course, I love the colors.
Even though I wasn’t immediately drawn to Paradoxal seeing it in the bottle (it looked too shiny for me), I bought it on Saturday after a long shopping trip trying to find something interesting to wear to the Austin Fashion Week kick-off event (I didn’t find anything to WEAR, but I needed to buy something ;)) And I LOVE the color!! I’ve been wearing Particuliere on my tips & toes, and it’s actually quite similar, but with a purple tone:
I did my nails on Saturday, so you can see they’re a little beat-up, but still holding up nicely. I won’t re-do my manicure for at least another day or two….
