I was browsing through Janice’s blog the other day and stumbled upon this post: Do you actually WEAR your favorite clothes? I ask myself that question all the time, and have addressed it once or twice here; how I don’t wear some of my favorite pieces because I’m afraid I’ll “ruin” them, or wear them out by, well, wearing them out.

Shopping For: Shirt Dresses
Even though I stick to a pretty strict, neutral color palette, I do like to play with proportion and shape, so I have quite a few different types of things I can wear. Generally, I prefer fitted or drapey over structured, but when I do want structured, I want a shirt dress.

Did you know they have a name now? Those bathroom counter shots that are so popular on Pinterest? They’re called “shelfies.” Yeah. Really. Well, here’s my shelfie. I don’t have flowers in my bathroom, or candles lit, or the products all neatly laid out like they’re never used. This is how my bathroom counter really looks. Messy.
