I’m wearing:
Gap Jeans
Gap tank top – got it for $3 and I HATE IT. I bought three of them last week and they’ve all stretched out so much they’re barely wearable. And in spite of having a few white tank tops, not one is THE PERFECT WHITE TANK TOP. Know what I mean?
LaRok sweater – VERY old, but I love the color and that it’s a bit shorter in the back
J Crew belt
Swedish Hasbeens clogs
Jas M.B. handbag
And yes, you read the title correctly. I spent an hour putting on and taking off clothes this morning getting ready for my friend Sharon to pick me up and go shopping. The weather is weird today – a little cool, but supposed to warm up a lot during the day. And I wanted to wear my new James Perse stuff, but couldn’t make ANYTHING work. NOTHING. Honestly, I just wanted to wear the exact same outfit I wore yesterday. But that would be boring.
Well, despite all the changes and the tank top issue – it looks great!
I love your shoes! are they comfortable?
Grechen, dear, you look so adorable in this outfit! Are you sure you’re not just being hard on yourself today? I took one look before I read the post and said, “Cute!!” I hear you about the tanks. I’m a size L typically and I have several by Old Navy and Gap and they just get HUGE! And my older JCrew ones shrink in length, so no good there, either. I’m trying them again, so I’ll let you know what I discover. Happy New Year!!
Man, I hear ya on the white tank challenge. I must have gone through a milion before I stumbled on Target’s tanks. They’re thin enough to layer, long to tuck into low-waisted jeans, have wide straps to hide bra straps and have a really stretchy slim fit. And they’re like $7 each. I love them.
Also..I love how confident you are in your photos! Very inspiring.
