I hope this isn’t boring you, but I’m really getting into this idea of recording EXACTLY what I’m wearing every day. I’m finding that I’m trying to wear certain things I normally wouldn’t (Everlane silk tank…) and as I do, I’m more aware of how I feel about the item, so I can decide if it’s worth keeping in my wardrobe or not (CP Shades top).
It’s sort of like recording everything you eat for a week…such a powerful tool to see what you’re REALLY eating. (let’s not go there right now though. Ugh) My being deliberate about what I’m wearing and understanding why, is helping me to appreciate what I have even more. Go figure 😉
So, I think I’ll do a “wearing” post every Friday to capture everything I wore during the week (including the things I took outfit pictures of), and on Monday featuring what I wore over the weekend. Soon, I’ll have my entire wardrobe photographed, and I’ll be able to show you exactly what’s in my closet. Exciting!!
Have you done this? What has it taught you about your style, your wardrobe?
Try it for a week, and see what happens…in fact, if you don’t do this, I challenge you to do it next week, either for the “work week” or including the weekend. Report back on next Friday’s post on how you did, and what you learned. Join me!!
Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
