AG Legend jeans were my first high-end jeans, and even then, I think I paid less than $50 for them at Nordstrom Rack. (this was back about 5 years ago when I wasn’t quite convinced that I should splurge on jeans…) I loved the style of the jeans, but the wash (very light) was outdated in a hurry, and honestly, not the best for my bottom-heavy shape. But there was no turning back after that.
Next came a pair of AG Angel jeans, then my Holy Grail jeans, my Goldsign Desires (which were very similar in style to the Legends because after AG was purchased, Adriano Goldschmied, the AG in AG, started Goldsign, and took the designs up a notch). I also bought a pair of James Jeans, another pair of Goldsigns (Passion), wideleg J Brands, and two more pairs of Goldsigns: Leia & Treo.
Since AG is no longer designed by Adriano Goldschmeid, I’m not sure I’ll like the “new” Legend as much as I liked the original, or as much as I like my Goldsign Desire jeans, but I think it’s worth a try. And I am LOVING that flare leg jeans are coming back…They’ve been eeking back onto the scene since the J Brand Lovestorys were such a hit, but Current/Elliot has done a great flare jean, and Gap has also come out with a very cool low rise bell jean (which are 25% off now).
Anyway, I think I’ll give the new AG Legends and Gap flared jeans a try, I could use a little excitement in the denim category…
