Apparently I’m late to the party, but I just discovered these WAM bands by Whitney Marbach, although they’ve been making the rounds of top fashion/style magazines since earlier this year. I always love a good chunky bracelet, but even more, I love the “gladiatorial” and “ancient” details on Whitney’s WAM Bands (makes me miss watching Rome on HBO). Named after Roman emperors (or are they all just characters from the movie Gladiator? LOL) Commodus, Lucious, Maximus, Proximo & more, these 2 & 3/4 inch bracelets would be just as home with a long flowy gown as with jeans & a tee. They are distinctly modern, but hint at something timeless, which makes these WAM bands the perfect accessory in my opinion.
