where to buy alexander wang darcy hobo

The Alexander Wang darcy Hobo in black is the Daily Deal at Satine (marked down to $765) AND if you use code “grechens10″ you’ll save an additional 10% off, bringing the bag down to $688. I dare you to find a better deal anywhere else. I also can’t recommend this bag enough. I have the “luggage” version and have been wearing it all the time; it’s very easy to carry because of the thick shoulder strap, and although some may consider it to be a “heavy” bag, I hardly notice the weight because it’s so easy to carry.

SHE’S HERE!!! I told you the Darcy would be my new Fall bag :)

My bag arrived yesterday literally as I was walking out the door, so I ripped open the package as fast as I could and hurridly shifted everything from my straw tote to Darcy and ran out the door. First thing I noticed was how light she is, compared to Rocco/Coco, and to my Linea Pelle bag. Even with all my stuff inside, she is incredibly easy to carry on my shoulder – she just fits so well, like she belongs there ;)

The Darcy is smaller than other hobos I have, and you really can’t get into her while carrying her on your shoulder, like I can with the Donna hobo, but she’s really easy to get into otherwise, and again, really really easy to carry on my shoulder. The leather is pebbled like my Rocco, but softer because of the style of the bag, it is much less structured, but still sits nicely on a table or on the floor because of the feet.

She has one inside pocket that’s pretty deep, so it holds a lot (my phone, camera and keys usually) and the bag itself holds a ton – more than you’d think. But still, what I love the most about the Darcy is how easy she is to carry and the “luggage” color/leather. Alexander Wang hit it out of the park again – love the simplicity of his bags, and the attention to detail, but also the little additions (rows and rows of studs) that make them all unique.

You can find the Darcy at Satine where you can use code “grechens10″ for 10%, and at Shopbop. I know…I promised a longer list of where to buy, and you will have it, but I seem to be always running out the door lately, so I’ll have to finish that up later :)
