I have three pairs of these Splendid pants (but mine are without pockets). I got them all around the same time because I never wanted to be without a pair (this is one case where buying multiples of the same item in the same color pays off). In fact, I’m wearing a pair right now.

They’re so comfortable, and a nice alternative to skin-tight yoga pants for running errands or lounging around. Once you get a pair, you’ll want to buy them in every color. I promise.

I’ve mentioned before that I live in my Splendid thermal long-sleeve top & cardigan when the weather cools down; go one better with this thermal dress. Splendid’s thermals are soft, stretchy, and so comfortable. And warm. REALLY warm & toasty
And through Monday at Shopbop, spend $250, get $50 off, spend $500, get $100 off and so on…so add a few more sale pieces to reach $250 and get the most for your dollar!

I’ve been searching for these Splendid wide leg pants in black, in a size Large, and on sale/with code forever and nearly bought them in navy at Shoplastyle with their 20% off INSTYLE09 code until I found them for WAY less ($37) in BLACK at Black Label Boutique:

I already have three pairs of the “regular” lounge pants by Splendid and live in them most of the year, so adding another pair in a different style for only $33 (sign up for their newsletter and they’ll send you a code for an extra 10% off) and free shipping was a no-brainer. I had this jumpsuit in my cart also, I had been thinking of this for a while too, I think it would be cute with a cardigan over it or chunky sweater in the Winter, but I decided against it, because all sale section items are final.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Splendid items on sale – the long v-neck cardigan is marked down to $26, cropped leggings are $22, some tanks are $8….
It’s my first time shopping at Black Label boutique, and I’ve heard nothing about them, so who knows what my experience will be like…I’ll definitely report back as soon as my package arrives!!

After seeing this Splendid top at Shopbop earlier this week, then at Revolve (for 20% off using code INSTYLE09 – but it seems to be sold out now!!), I caved and bought it, because I’ve been kind of obsessed with the tank top version since I saw it on a woman at whole foods earlier in the Summer. Overall, I like it, it’s comfortable to wear and interesting, if a little thin.
BUT after taking my outfit picture, I noticed there was a spot, or a mark or something on the shirt, so I took it off, blotted it with a little water and on closer inspection noticed a few VERY small holes NOT in the same area as the spot. So…I think I should send it back. I just received the shirt yesterday, today was the first time I wore it, and In the two hours, I’m not sure I could have done much to create the holes – although, now that I’m thinking about it, when I got my eyebrows done, I set my purse (donna hobo, with an open zipper on the back) down on top of the shirt, and the zipper teeth could have created the holes. ARGH. What would you do? I have shirts with holes in them that I noticed after many many washes & wears and the holes never seem to get much bigger – if these don’t get any bigger, they will never be noticeable. But the IDEA that I’ve just worn it once and it already has a hole in it is upsetting…BUT if I created the holes with my bag…then it’s my fault anyway, and I shouldn’t send it back.
I don’t think I’ll send it back…
Anyway, while I was out today, I stopped at T Alexander Wang tees and I LOVE them. I tried on a medium first, and while it did have a “loose” fit overall, it still clung to some places I’d rather not have it cling, so I probably would size up if I do decide to get it. The tees are 100% rayon, but they’re thicker than they look – thicker than the Splendid top I’m wearing today, and thicker than any of my James Perse or Kain Label tees. I really feel like they’d hold up well, and stand hand washing and laying flat to dry very well. I wanted so bad to get one today, but I’d rather buy online from Shopbop and save the sales tax…
