Shopbop put lots of items on sale today – including this James Perse long side split skirt for $49:

I tried this skirt on a month or so at Saks and really liked it. Not for the original price – but for $49, it’s great
It is a bit snug at the hips, which is typical of James Perse, but not so much so that it’s unflattering. I’d size up if you’re hip-y at all, and take your regular size if you’re not.

What do you think of all the wide-leg silk trousers that are popping up everywhere? Will you be buying a pair? I actually love the look, but generally, I’d rather wear a long silk skirt than trousers. I think the new crop of trousers are beautiful though, coming in so many colors (mostly pastel) and patterns (floral, stripes…), and they’re pretty versatile if you can wear them without getting them dirty…
Which pair do you like better above? This? or That? Which pair do you think is more expensive? Which pattern do you prefer?

This necklace has been in my “hearts” list at Shopbop forever…I keep trying to buy it, but hesitate. I don’t know why. It’s beautiful, simple, and so ME!

This Derek Lam jacket is INSANE. But honestly, I only noticed it because I fell in love with it on a Shopbop model at their Fashion’s Night Out event in NYC:

I know it’s not a great picture, but she never turned around for me to get a better picture of her; I was SO starstruck by the Shopbop models!! (ask Elissa…) And I don’t ever get starstruck…LOL
Also notice the Rag & Bone sweater on the other model…
