I don’t need to explain my love for these new “pixel” BB flats by Repetto, do I? Ok. Good. Because I’m speechless.

Usually I consider burgundy or orange to be my “other” colors (besides black, white or gray), but cobalt blue is growing on me. I would wear these suede repetto bb flats with EVERYTHING.

Those of you who have been reading Grechen’s Closet for a while know that my color palette is VERY limited – and muted; I usually stick to gray, black & white and sometimes navy. When I do throw some color in, however, it’s usually orange or burgundy, and this happens very rarely (although as frequently as Friday…). So you’ll recognize that this sweater, is quite a bit out of my “comfort” zone:

But I like it. It’s not easy to style, and we’ll see how annoying it’ll be if it falls off my shoulder often, but I think I can work with it…
What I’m wearing:
James Perse pants
C&C California turtleneck
Whit cashmere sweater (I got mine via Gilt, but it’s available on sale at Frances May)
Repetto cap-toe BB flats
Jas M.B. handbag

Today, thanks to Indiana, I get to leave the house!! You see, since Tuesday we’ve had repair people in and out of the apartment every day to fix our mildew-y shower (ew) so I’ve been stuck here (I don’t like to have people here without someone here & I also can’t leave the dog, he doesn’t like strangers in his house without me). Indiana and I are planning a fashion/style blogger conference during SXSW this year (see the website if you’re interested in details!!) and we desperately need to get together to finalize speakers and other stuff. So I had to get dressed ![]()
What I’m wearing – I went deep into my closet for today’s outfit!!
OLD Goldsign jeans – still love these, but they’re a bit tight
OLD James Perse top
OLD Inhabit NY sweater
Repetto BB flats
Jas M.B. bag
And yes, my face/eyes are puffy and I have a MASSIVE headache from so-called “cedar fever” here in Austin. Joy!
