I usually keep eco-friendly fashion & accessories to Green Grechen, but I will happily break the rules for these two lovely ladies…
Lina Rennell (of Beklina and her own line, Lina Rennell) & Ashley Watson (pioneer of recycled leather handbags) have come together to create these two amazing organic cotton/canvas & recycled leather handbags exclusively on sale at Beklina. Lina’s prints are so perfect right now and Ashley’s recycled, worn-in leather completes the natural, artisan look of each bag. Heavenly…

I wonder if this duffel would hold enough for a 4-day trip to Florida…hmmm….

I love the concept of Etsy, more than I love Etsy itself, sadly. It’s so overwhelming to browse through designers and products, I usually just quit. I recently posted about Supermarket HQ, which has many of the same designers as Etsy, but way fewer, so it’s easier to navigate.
But anyway, every once in a while I manage to find a gem at Etsy, like this makeup bag by Valhalla Brooklyn:

Her other bags are way-cool also…and most less than $200:

Everything is handcrafted, and many times she uses vintage and recycled materials.
I saw these cool recycled leather/suede/fabric handbags by Salvation Sacks first at the greenset (another of my favorite eco-chic blogs!).

Salvation Sack’s Designer, Margaret, creates each bag individually, from vintage clothing and fabrics she just couldn’t bear to part with. I love the combination of textures and fabrics on all the bags, but the retro prints of the two bags above are my favorites! Her bags are about $165, and shipping is free for a limited time, so snag the one you’re interested in now!
Ashley Watson also makes lovely recycled leather bags, but for much more $$$!
