I do not own ONE chunky sweater. I love them, but I guess I’ve hesitated buying one because I don’t want to add more bulk to my already “bulky” frame; I convinced myself the style wouldn’t work on me. The chunky/Fisherman sweater “trend” always comes around every Winter and this year I REALLY want to try it since I am a little less bulky than last year. I would DIE for the By Malene Birger cardigan (I know I would wear it constantly), but it’s way out of my price range. The Funktional sweater at Shopbop is next in line because I love the curved hem (tends to make me look a little taller).
Do you own any chunky/Fisherman sweaters? Where did you get your favorite one?
I did say that if I found this Elizabeth & James tunic on sale for 50% off I’d buy it, didn’t I? Now that I can have it for $108 via Piperlime, I’m not so sure…
I still love it, but I’m not sure I’d wear it enough. But I was very excited to find select items marked down up to 30% off at Piperlime AND the extra 20% off with code STYLE20 (code expires 10/14). Gimme shoes has all their sale shoes marked down 50%, and there are several Repetto BB’s on sale for $114, in addition to Rachel Comey, Coclico, Chie Mihara, and Cynthia Vincent. Alas, my Repetto fund isn’t stocked up enough for me to be able to get either pair that’s still available in my size…
Footnotes Online is worth going through – they have lots of Tory Burch shoes (even Revas) on sale, as well as this pair of Stuart Weitzman “clogs” I’ve had my eye on.
Ped Shoes have marked down lots of Summer styles 20-30% off. It’s rare to find Jutta Neumann sandals on sale…but here they are, marked down to $179 (they’re hand made in NYC)
