I first wrote about LD Tuttle back in 2006 for a “New Designers” feature I wrote. Well, obviously, they’re not so new anymore and I’m proud to report that the design has evolved over the years from the original bright, 80′s inspired looks to edgy, more mature shoes & accessories. One of my favorites for Fall is the Shifter boot:

	Gryson Handbags By the former designer for Marc Jacobs, Joy Gryson, Gryson bags are supposedly the new ‘it’ bags (at least according to the high-end department stores that sell the line), which means that all the celebrities will carry them and that there will be a waiting list to buy the most popular styles. Frankly, we think you should be the judge of whether they’re worth all the hype or not. Our favorite is the Rachel (the brown bag on the left) because it is the most unique of the lot. The Lexi (on bottom) is not very different from much else out there, and some of the styles frankly look a little stale. But we see potential, and look for more originality next season. Hopefully. 	LD Tuttle We knew 80′s fashion would be back, it was only a matter of time. Leggings, off-the-shoulder sweatshirts, headbands…remind you of anything? So, it’s only fitting that a shoe designer inspired by Flashdance and body movement should be gaining momentum just as the fashions of the movie are hitting the runways for fall. Not that any of LD Tuttle’s designs would specifically remind one of Flashdance, because they’re decidedly unique and modern, but they do hold a hint of the glitz and glam of the spotlight. 	Radcliffe High-end denim is mostly all the same now. What is done has pretty much been done before, in a different wash, or slightly different detailing. Radcliffe departs from the usual and offers on its jeans a hidden button that you can use to fold up the jeans to shorten them without hemming. Of course, you won’t have that ‘original’ hem look, but when you find the perfect pair of jeans, you want to wear them with everything, and when the perfect pair of jeans costs almost $270, you’d better just stick to one pair.
