I was really excited about getting this skirt from the last Inhabit sample sale, but now that it’s here, I’m not so sure. I mean, I actually like it a lot, my fiance HATES it because he says it makes me look wider than I really am. And he has a point. There’s a lot of material on this skirt, it’s layered, has pockets, and it’s a faux wrap, so I can’t really make it flatten out like I would be able to with a real wrap skirt (if that makes sense…). So, I don’t think it’s my most flattering look ever, but neither do I think it’s the worst…
What do you think? (I can’t send it back because it was a final sale, but I’d love to know what you guys think anyway)

I’ve finally started to become more interested in Fall fashions/shopping recently even though it will not cool down here for another two months. I’m DYING for crisp, cool Fall weather, long sleeves, and cashmere. I don’t have nearly enough cashmere, only a few sweaters: a very old basic v-neck sweater by Theory, and a cashmere henley I bought from earlier this year’s online sample sale at Inhabit. I haven’t actually “worn” the new sweater, but I do secretly put it on every once in a while to feel how soft it is, and to pretend for a second that it’s not SO HOT here.
I’m now hopelessly devoted to Inhabit for their wonderful cotton and cashmere sweaters. I have two cotton cardigans that I really enjoy; they’re so lightweight, but still warm enough in cool air conditioning. And I admit to keeping one wadded up in my bag for “emergencies”…(I’ll also admit to handwashing my cotton AND cashmere from Inhabit, so far it’s worked out okay!)
So, while checking up on their Labor Day Sale today (there are still quite a few things left), I noticed they’d added some new items for me to obsess over…
I love the muted colors, the fabulous fits and the luxurious cashmere…everything. Now I’m anxiously awaiting my Fall Lookbook which should be arriving soon in the mail…
