Etsy Find: ChainChained

Thank goodness for history…I clicked through to this necklace from a blog I have in my reader (and now I don’t remember which one..sorry!) and closed it without bookmarking it last night! But I was so obsessed with it, I was determined to find it again, and spent time looking back through the hundreds of blogs I have in my reader before I realized I could scroll through my browsing history. D’oh.

Anyway, I’ve always been kind of a heavy metal girl; loved the music in middle school (oy!) and now, the jewelry. If I could, I’d wear heavy metal chains sometimes, and delicate layers other times. This is one of those necklaces I’d love to wear layered with other chains of different lengths for some interest. And it’s only $22. LOVE it!

I can’t stop staring at this necklace…I love the colors, the fringe, the leather….

Check out this set LOVEMADDS (Madeline Rhodes) made to feature the necklace (here it is on polyvore with links to everything, apparently you can’t use etsy items in polyvore sets). I love it, thanks Madeline!

How would you wear it?

Etsy Find: KUSS Contemporary Jewelry

I’m about to faint from the cuteness of Etsy seller KUSS. Her nature-inspired jewelry is right up my alley, and even better – it’s affordable and handmade! Since I first visited her shop, a lot of things have disappeared, but my favorites are still there…

Etsy Find: Moxie and Oliver

While working so diligently on my favorite Etsy sellers list (thanks to a few comments from lovely visitors), I ran across this, that I can’t stop thinking about:

The Bookworm clutch by moxie and oliver

I AM a bookworm (I treasure my library more than my bags. Really), but I never knew I needed one of these until now. How perfect for slipping a book, notebook and pen into for a walk with the dog to Starbucks for some tea? Hopefully I’ll be able to make some time for that in the near future…Every bit of this clutch is handmade, and the designer can even customize the size of the pockets for you – to fit an iphone, ipod, or moleskine. I love the delicate tooling and antique look of the leather.

The bookworm clutch is truly my favorite piece, but here are some others that caught my eye:

I’m still filling in my favorite Etsy sellers list…but I’d love your help!! If you are an etsy seller, or have a favorite, leave a comment below with a link, or drop me a line. Thanks!!

Etsy Find: Swanclothing & Totes

September 1, 2008

I’ve mentioned before how intimidating I find Etsy…there are SO MANY sellers to browse through that my attention inevitably wanders to other things and I never find what I’m looking for. Honestly, most of my favorite Etsy finds have come as recommendations from fellow bloggers and fashion fanatics I interact with online. (I did recently [...]

Etsy Find: Valhalla Brooklyn Handbags

May 28, 2008

I love the concept of Etsy, more than I love Etsy itself, sadly. It’s so overwhelming to browse through designers and products, I usually just quit. I recently posted about Supermarket HQ, which has many of the same designers as Etsy, but way fewer, so it’s easier to navigate. But anyway, every once in a [...]
