This week only (well, through Thursday 7/9) take 50% off your order at Coco’s Shoppe with code “grechen50.”
Coco’s Shoppe is always a great go-to place for great eco-friendly fashion & loungewear from designers like Doucette Duval, Covet, J Brand, Bahar Shapar, EDUN, Beau Soleil & more – I especially love the bamboo pieces from Natori, great for luxurious lounging around at home (or, if you work from home, definitely the perfect work wear!).
For out and about though, I’m loving these Park Vogel organic cotton tanks:
Park Vogel tank: $77 | Park Vogel Cami: $75 |
Eco-friendly Doie Designs’ Sara Kirsner recently moved from New York to California, and you can clearly see it in her new Spring collection, aptly named, the Los Angeles collection.
Sara previously worked mostly in bamboo and silk, but she’s made the change this season to mostly organic cotton and silk (I actually prefer organic cotton, because I think it’s eco-friendlier than bamboo). She still brings back the signature lounge pant and wrap shirt, but I love the new dresses most of all, especially the Mulholland (the second dress from the left).
Now through May 31, use code “Grechen25″ for 25% off at Doie Designs and snag yourself some pretties!! This code is ONLY valid on the Spring/Summer 09 collection – all other collections are already marked down by 60%!
You know what I decided? If I had to shop at only one boutique for the rest of my life, or if by some miracle I won everything from a particular store, I’d want it to be Beklina. I used to think Anthropologie was that store, but it’s become a bit too feminine and frou-frou for me lately. There is no other store, online or off, where I am absolutely in love with every single item in it (well, except James Perse, but those are basics).
Let me show you why…
Virginia Johnson Hemp Dress $320 | Virginia Johnson Hemp Tote $320 |
Rachel Comey Hair Clips $135 | Ivana Helsinki Tiger Tank $98 |
 Ivana Helsinki Tiger Dress $240 | Raasta Plata t-shirt $220 |
 Stewart + Brown Skirt $192 | Fox in Mociun Tote $74 |
Angelina never ceases to amaze me with her selection, and it’s like she’s reading my mind when she chooses pieces to buy for Beklina. I love that she doesn’t carry every piece from each designer she works with – she picks and chooses her favorites; I feel almost like I’m looking in her closet when I shop there! And to bring it all together, she only carries items that are made from eco-friendly fabrics and/or are ethically produced and/or are made locally by independent designers like Mociun, Lina Rennell, Manimal, Loyale & more. And OMG, she’s re-designed the site to make it easier to browse by designer or by category, and when you hover over an image, you’ll see below it the designer and price. The pictures and outfit styling are still totally awesome.
Oh yeah…and for the next week (until Wednesday, April 15) when you spend $500 or more at Beklina, take 30% off your order with code “500for30.” This is an exclusive discount just for you, so stock your closet now with your Beklina favorites…I know I am!!
