If there’s one thing I can’t have enough of (besides handbags), it’s cashmere. Up until now, it’s been mostly Inhabit for me, but there’s a new game in town, Qi Cashmere. No, they’re not really “new,” but they did just recently launch their e-commerce site, and I’m excited to share with you that they’re offering Grechen’s Closet readers 20% off with code QIGrech11 through November 19th. Below are some of my favorites…
Since purchasing a sweater dress at Anthropologie recently, I’ve become obsessed…I love wearing it with tights, leggings & even straight-legged jeans. On the lookout for a couple more to add to my closet, I’d definitely choose these:

And, I will admit that I’ve often thought I needed a pair of sweater-y/cashmere pants…although I’m not sure if I do really “need” a pair, I’d just LOVE to have them

I could also live in this tunic top…

And how about this long cardigan?? wouldn’t it go with everything?

Last but not least, how adorable are these cashmere slippers? if not for you, what about for your mom? your sister? At under $100, they would make a fabulous gift. I’d definitely take a pair

In case you didn’t know, I’m addicted to Inhabit NY cashmere and cotton sweaters. As of now, I have 4 cotton cardigans, 1 cotton crew neck, 1 cashmere open cardigan, 1 stretch cashmere turtleneck, 1 cashmere v-neck, a cashmere cowl neck sweater with kangaroo pockets (LOVE), a cotton skirt, a deep scoop cashmere sweater…and I think that’s it!
I obviously live in all of these pieces as the weather cools down; they’re so easy and perfect to wear with anything. I’ve picked up quite a few during their online sample sales, but many of the styles and colors don’t make it that far. Speaking of colors, I love the new design of the website, the larger images are great, and it’s easier to navigate to find what you’re looking for, but I do wish they’d done a better job with the color swatches. Those of you who are Inhabit connoisseurs KNOW that the colors are notorious for looking different in real life than on the screen. I usually try to find other sites online selling inhabit to get a better idea of the colors, but I’d love to be able to do it all on Inhabit’s site…
To celebrate the launch of their new site and Fall collection, Inhabit is offering a special 10% discount to my visitors through 10/16: GG2009. The discount is not valid on sale items, only on regularly-priced items. Now…what to buy??
Here’s my favorite new cashmere:
And my favorite cotton pieces:
I’ve found that all of their pieces run true to size; if you have a question about sizing or colors, please leave a comment, either I or some other Inhabit addict will try to help
The long-standing “grechen” coupon code for 20% off at Luna Boston will be expiring on August 24. Unfortunately, more and more designers are requesting that their items be excluded from permanent discount codes, and it is no longer feasible for Luna Boston to continue to offer this code. Stay tuned to Grechen’s Closet and grechenscodes.com though, because we’ll be partnering up with Luna Boston the rest of the year for changing monthly specials and coupons!
In the mean time, use this opportunity to stock up on bags and accessories using the “grechen” code for 20% off. In case you need some ideas on what to buy…
This week only, use code “grechenditabrick30″ for 30% off Posse NYC’s “Dita” hobo fringe bag in brick. This bag is a great way to get in on the fringe trend without going overboard. The “brick” color is amazing – great for any season, and the shape is incredibly practical (see my review here).
