These have always been kind of tricky to find online – well, not exactly tricky to FIND, but tricky to BUY. They’re always made to order, so it takes a while for them to arrive, and then, since they’re special order, you can’t return them. The great thing about that is that you can get them exactly the way you want them, the bad thing, obviously, is that you’re stuck with them if you don’t like them. I guess there’s always eBay…
Anyway, Art Effect has just made available several styles of Sven clogs online – including this woven pair for $175:
The high-heel buckle clogs are pretty awesome too; they have several pairs I truly love – but I’m not sure I would invest the $$ in the special order without first knowing my size.

I ordered bronze clogs (made in Sweden) last year from Cape Clogs after I saw them in Lucky.The customer service was wonderful…the Lucky coupon code had expired a few days before I ordered, but they honored it anyway. The prices are reasonable and the styles delicious. I’ve worn my clogs all winter, and they still look beautiful.

I’ve never tried Sven, but they’re really cute and I love the colors. Custom sounds appealing to me, with my “so wide I could waterski on them” feet.
Sven makes the no. 6 clogs. So I imagine the sizing is similar? I wear a 8.5/9 and my no. 6 clog boots are size 40. Also, Sven has its own website. You might be able to shoot them an email about sizing. That said, I really love the look of the woven pair. Cute!
i just got the sven ankle strap buckle high heels as pictured above in red. just a note on the sizing. i wear a 7-7.5 and the told me i would need a 38. i found that the 38 was just a tad big for me. because sven does not make half sizes if i went down to a 37 which is equivalent to a 6.5 it would be too small. i called art effects who distributes them out of chicago and even took a picture and sent it to the staff to see what they thought. they said it was a pretty good fit and because i love them so much i decided to keep them even though they are just a little big for my taste. btw you can return these for a full refund if they are in the sizes that are not made to order. basically 38 and up. 38 and smaller are considered custom sizing which is not returnable. that’s all
