Just for fun…Before I left to come to Atlanta for my mom’s birthday I played around with some pieces at SLOWRE. Here are a few of my favorites modeled on me.  For reference, I usually wear size medium or 6-8 in pants, but please see my about page for measurements.

I’ll have more real-life pictures tomorrow, but please check out the new arrivals section today: I added three Kowtow organic fairtrade cotton tops in sizes L and XL, along with some J Crew sweaters, all in XL.  I’m trying loosening up my “restrictions” on the types of items I accept to include other designers, but am not sure I’ll keep doing that.  But I’m also trying to make an effort to attract larger sizes.  Please keep SLOWRE in mind whenever you have anything to get rid of!!

    Hi,
    Thank you for trying the cloths on, it is helpful to see the fit and the overall length. Unfortunately, all of those would be too short for me. I am 5.8 but prefer 33 inseam for pants or 29 inseam for cropped ones and my torso is on a longish side (I buy JCREW tall sizes in coats and swim). Would you consider — from time to time— to take pictures of someone taller (guest model:)?) to highlighter Slowre offerings like you did today? I know that measurements can be provided but pics are extremely helpful. Overall, I like the selection of the brands!

    Love all this. Question about beautiful Wray dress: when you say lined at top, do you mean to below the bust, to waist, below the butt, other? I looked on their website and no info there. Is it transparent in the areas not lined? As to JCrew, if you are recycling (upcycling?) it’s all to the good.

    I’m not wearing a slip in the photos but I would IRL. It’s pretty sheer. It’s lined right to the bust. Meaning it covers my boobs but barely. And I’m small…

    I loove the RC gavale sandals- I wore them all the time for 2 summers until they gave out at the end of this past one. I’m always keeping an eye out for a pair in my size still floating around. These photos are great!

    Thank you for this 🙂 Btw I love my James Pearse skirt (received yesterday)! Everything I’ve bought from Slowre has become a new fav item in my closet and I am not an easy fit. And you always ship so quickly too!

    Are those the same pants that are long on you in the first pics, and then you just cuffed them? It’s hard for me to tell. OMG, you should not sell the (long) pants. They look amazing on you! I’d buy them but I’m 5’10” so I need about a 32-33″ inseam.

    Wow!!! Lots of great pieces. Especially the Robert Clergerie sandals (I can’t believe you’re getting rid of them!….I take that back…Yes, I can! 😉 ) And pardon the Texas-style pun, but look at those guns in pic #4!!! C’mon, you were flexing!

    Hi Grechen-
    Each outfit looks great on you. my favorite because its so different for you is the white embroidered blouse w the Nili pants. I would wear that. I also like the white silk dress it would be great as a layering piece over skinny pants too. EF is having a System event at her Soho store, if I go I will take pics and send.
    That’s it for now, I’m going back into my closet to take out any items Im not wearing and donate them at my school.
