For three days, Shopbop is offering an extra 25% off sale items with code BONUS25, and there are still some great things on sale and available in quite a few sizes. I, of course, recommend the James Perse pieces always (no, I’m not getting the cashmere sweatpants, although I do want to…I still just can’t do it. So indulgent! They would make a wonderful gift though – they definitely qualify for the probably-would-never-purchase-for-herself rule of gifting…), especially the tucked raglan dress if you’re a size 0 or 1. I’ve also had those Rachel Comey oxfords in my hearts section waiting for them to go on sale/get marked down even more since they were brand new; I love them so much, but I think I like them more in theory than I would like them on me.
Anything you’ve had your eye on you’re finally going to get??
*This dress is also available at Forward by Elyse Walker in a size 2 for $125 after their code for 20% off sale items

I LOVE those Rachel Comey oxfords too…except that when I was visiting my Mom over Thanksgiving, she bought me a great pair of the chunky Coach burgundy loafers (that ended up being $75?!?), so I don’t really need another pair of chunky burgundy shoes. But besides olive green, burgundy is one of the few “colors” I actually wear. Plus, the Rachel Comey shoes look like a grown-up version of the Doc Martens cherry red shoes.
oh. nice!! i would wear burgundy shoes also (i love my burgundy clog wedges), but i can’t get out of my head when i was shopping with my step mom a month or so ago and looking at oxfords, she made a remark that they look like men’s shoes. not in a mean way, just an observation. which of course is true, and why i like them LOL – but also why my husband would HATE them. and truthfully, i’m not sure i’d trade out my sneakers to wear those enough to make them worth it. but man, they’re awesome!!
I’m on the “Rachel Comey oxfords bandwagon,” too! I love them, and I’ve had a bug for awhile now thinking that I need a pair of good oxfords. I think they’d be especially great because my feet could use the ventilation, if you know what I mean. 😉 And yes, they’ve got that androgynous appeal (so much better than “manly”) but every look I pin lately has them featured. I’m holding out for after Christmas sales!
