Thanks to the reminder from Nanashi, I headed over to Oak just now to check out their new private label shoes…and found a pair headed straight to my wish-list:
Yes, they do look strikingly similar to these Rachel Comey oxfords I also have my eye on…
Now, I can’t decide which pair I like more…on price alone, the Oak shoes would win, hands down (they’re $100 less), but I do love the “clog” feel of the Rachel Comeys…which ones would you choose?

I’d go for the ones by “Oak”-They look a little sleeker and I like the dual-textures of leather/suede–Of course, the $100 less doesn’t hurt, either. lol

and then i discovered that the stuart weitzman shooties i AM DYING FOR are part of the sale at nordies. sigh.

I like so much of her stuff but can’t afford any of it. I like your outfit, by the way–I want to get one of those Target vests now! There’s one at Anthropologie that I love, but it’s $$$.

I suppose it depends on what sort of look you want to go for, Oak would make you more rock-chic and Rachel Comey has her own vibe, you can pull both style off perfectly, but from the outfits you choose I would probably vote for Rachel Comey, I think they click together more. =)
i agree that rachel comey “goes” w/me a bit more – i mean, they’re basically clogs and you KNOW how i love clogs
we’ll see which pair goes on sale for the least amount of money – those will be the ones i get!!
