I returned the “birthday booties” I ordered from Endless.com a couple weeks ago, and just ordered these Sam Edelman booties to replace them:

I don’t know what I was thinking, thinking I could pull off flat ankle boots…I couldn’t. And I knew it before my boots even arrived. They were cute, but not on me 
Then on Saturday my ATX Ladies who Lunch group had a clothing swap and Laurel was wearing a pair of Jeffrey Campbell wedges very similar to these Sam Edelman’s and I loved them on her (I always love a good wedge…), so I stuck these in my cart to think about for a few days. Now, because of the 25% off discount, they’re less than $100, so I’m taking the plunge. I think they’ll look great with black tights and my new leather skirt from Anthropologie.
And OH. SPEAKING OF ANTHROPOLOGIE…guess what’s on sale today?
I’m going to go to a different store this afternoon and see if they have a size 10 to try on. If it works, I’ll get it – for more than 50% off, I can make the dress work….

I ordered a half size up so I could stuff sole inserts in them, and I’m glad I did, my feet complain a lot if I don’t!! So now with the extra cushioning they fit purrrfectly. They’re also made of much softer suede than I expected. Hope you like yours! Can’t wait for your review…..
ugh. i need to give up on buying shoes from brands other than no6 or repetto online LOL – i’m afraid these are not going to work for me. all the other reviews on other sites say to size up 1/2 size and i didn’t.
Great boots!!! I think I might need more of a platform in the front tho–wedges tend to shove my foot forward (I have very temperamental feet!) I’m so glad that you’re going to get the dress. Now you’ll be happy….we’ll all be happy….(lol!)
i’m afraid they won’t work for me for exactly that reason – i am used to more of a platform also.
we’ll see, they arrive tomorrow, so i’ll let you guys know…
