I don’t like taking selfie mirror shots, but since I just got home with my Everlane package, I wanted to show you the new silk blouse & belt. I LOVE the blouse. It is a size medium, in the sun-kissed marine color. Although it is a teeny bit snug in the upper arms and across the back, I don’t really feel like it looks it, and it doesn’t feel it too much. It fits perfectly at my hips (which is mostly what I was worried about), and the color is GORGEOUS. A lot lighter than I thought it would be, but still beautiful.
And OMG, my hair!! I went for color today and she did a cap on the top of my head two shades lighter than the bottom and it looks so bright and shiny! She also played around with the styling a bit and curled it – isn’t it CRAZY? I love it, but am really scared to try and duplicate it myself, I am less than confident in my hair styling abilities.
Oh, and the belt – I love it, but it’s REALLY difficult to fasten. It’s actually not fastened here because I couldn’t do it. But I really like how simple it is!

Yes, adorable! Especially the hair! I’m considering that blouse but “dry clean only” bugs me. (Shouldn’t washed silk be washable?) Color’s great on you 🙂

Hello. I found your blog as I was looking for clog reviews. Its great! I can’t get a lot of the stuff because I l I live in Dublin, but I can get similar. I’m always on the lookout for things that are stylish and comfy. Also, you look very like one of my kids teachers, (its a compliment, she is lovely!) so whenever he says “Get off the computer!” I can distract him with your photo and we see what “Miss Rooney” is wearing.
oh you look awesome! i’m intrigued by that belt and that shirt is growing on me even though i had some initial hesitation about wearing a rounded collar. just noticed that they just added it in a band collar style!

I’m contemplating buying a few of Everlane’s silk blouses but am debating between small and medium. I want it relaxed, but I don’t want to drown in it. I’m 5’4″ and about 130-135 lbs. I saw you got medium. Mind telling me your body type/height/weight so I can compare myself to you? The medium looks great on you!
i’m 5’4″ 150 lbs with a pear shape and relatively larger upper arms, small chest – and hips! i’d say the small would be okay for you generally, but if you want it to be loose, go for the medium. hope that helps!!
