Also, if you happen to be anywhere near DFW, I’m popping up again at the Boho Market at the Dallas farmer’s market this Saturday and Sunday. Come and say hi 🙂
Thanks so much for the visuals. It really helps! (I love the black tank on you!)
you’re welcome 🙂
and i love that tank too…ugh, it’s so dangerous, this little shop LOL – i could just buy for myself so much more than i do…
I am interested in the smock which I can see is oversized and I see the measurements posted on the listing and then I see that La Garconne’s website says a “M” is equivalent to a size 6. I am more like size 12. It seems quite oversized, including arms which are often a sticking point. Do you think it is just oversized for a 6?
good question…I reached out to the consignor just now to ask her how it fit her (she’s a 10-12 I think) and will let you know what i hear back.
in my opinion, it would FIT a size 12 and not necessarily be oversized – but it would still fit like it’s supposed to i think. i measured the back of the shoulders (the seam along the upper back) and it is a little more than 23″
let me know if you’d like more measurements or details!
here’s her answer: “for this type of garment, I usually wear size 10 or 12, or L and I’m 5’08”. On me, I’d say, the moderne smock was roomy and slightly oversized. This effect was thanks to the cut (boxy and square-ish), not so much size per se”
Aha, thank you and looks like it sold!
If I may ask, why are you selling your black crane tops? You looked great in them!
i loved them more in theory than in practice. they just didn’t fit my body right : the small fit like i wanted it to at the shoulders and waist, but was too small at the hips, i would have liked them to be a bit more of a boxy fit on me 🙁 – i just wasn’t wearing them…
