I’ve been trying to wear this hat as often as possible so I can get used to the idea of wearing one as part of an “outfit;” I think it’s working! Honestly, I’m tired of my bangs/weird hair, so I love that I have a hat now to cover it up, and reach for it a lot. Come fall, I’ll be ready to invest in a more substantial wool hat, this one by Rag & Bone perhaps? I envision it being invaluable for travel, or just lazy hair days. Of which I have a lot lately!! (hats are also good for protecting your color from the sun) – I’m great at justifying purchases 🙂
I hope you have a great weekend!
Cute outfit and I’m loving that you are stepping outside of your comfort zone with hats and showing all your arms and wearing shorter skirts. Now, if we can get you in some color, life will be complete, lol.
We can talk each other into that Rag & Bone hat. I saw some in the latest issue of Lucky and I’ve been stalking tons of websites waiting for this purple version to show up but I feel crazy spending so much money on a hat. It would look great though.
This is so adorable and it makes you look so TALL! (Really, would I lie to you?) I love hats, but there’s this thing in Montauk that the locals have about people wearing fedoras (It’s a BIG time indicator that you’re not from around here…), so, I have a big, floppy straw hat that I wear on the beach. And I’m OK with that. Until I officially become a local, anyway. 😉
like it! Those hats are so cheap right? I got one and my kids keep borrowing it – it looks great on everyone! We have a heatwave in Ireland(very unusual and fantastic!) and I got the last one! A lot of exclamation marks, sorry!!
color? never. 😉
i’m not sure i could spend so much on a hat either. it’s nice to think about though!!
