Remember when I mentioned on Facebook that I was ready for it to get hot? Well, I take that back 😉 No, just kidding, but it got REALLY hot yesterday and I wasn’t ready. But today I am – this VKOO cotton sweater over a cami is just the thing for today’s humid/overcase/breezy day. I may regret the jeans later, but the sweater looks better with something a little more slim & fitted on the bottom – it would also be cute with cutoff shorts if you wear them. And honestly, I could have taken a small in the sweater, but I wasn’t sure, and I kind of like the way the medium drapes in the back, so I’m very happy with it. I’m going to be doing a giveaway with VKOO soon, so be sure to stay tuned, and definitely check out their new spring/summer arrivals; the linen handkerchief cardigan and dress are next on my list!
I instagramed a couple of close-up pictures of my shoes/toes & necklaces in case you’re not following me (I’m “grechen” on instagram).
And can I just take a second to moan about my hair? It’s killing me today – lately I feel like it just looks like a helmet – a little too perfect. I guess it’s grown a lot since my pixie cut, but I want it to grow FASTER!!! And I’m toying with growing out my bangs too, what do you think? Ugh…growing out is hard. Remind me never to cut my hair so short again. I did like my pixie cut, but it was way too much maintenance for me; I do better with a style I don’t have to do anything with, and I do like to pull it back away from my face sometimes.
Have you ever grown your hair out from very short? How did you manage it??
Ahhh, I can completely sympathize with this stage of the process! I had a complete helmet PLUS a “shelf” going on in the back where my shortest layers simply refused to blend into the rest of my hair, no matter how much my stylist tried to razor/texture them. This stage will only last a month or two though, with another inch, it will be a true bob.
Lots of bobby pins!!!!! 🙂
LOL!!! i’m so low maintenance though, i’d just get too frustrated trying to place them! i just need to be patient, right? it’s hair, it grows…
those sandals are great. I can see why you got them. European too, which is nice for me! Thanks!
