This Zara top was my very first striped top, and while I like it, it’s not held up very well (pilling, colors bleeding) and it’s more of a spring/summer shirt. But I’ve been bitten by the striped shirt bug and there’s no stopping me now 
I tried some on at the Gap the other day and I didn’t like the fit at all, and other than that, there aren’t many that I’ve found that I really like lately – that I can afford (if PLAY x CDG was a little less expensive, I’d have a closet full of those…). Besides my new LOFT top I wore on Monday.
What are your favorite striped tops?

JCrew and JCrew Factory have the best striped tops!
Yay, Grechen! You’ve joined the “Stripes Club”! My faves, like Joanna’s, are from J crew and their factory store, although I find the quality of fabric better at their regular stores. Just curious, what didn’t you like about GAP fit? I tend to get quite a few from them, too. (and sometimes, they don’t pill as bad as my more expensive ones….). Splendid is another fave. And of course, Saint James! (want me to stop now?)
I like stripes but don’t have that many in my closet, current count is three after the package I got yesterday. One sweater and tee is from J.Crew and the other tee is from J.Crew Factory. Like buying any other tee, it might be a hunt for the right style/brand. I know I’m picky about certain details.

I have to agree, Jcrew and Splendid. I recently bought a stri[ped one at Anthro that was ‘lili’s closet’ label but it had a shirt tail hem in chiffon!
