Outfit: Just the Shoes

I didn’t have a chance to take a full photo of my outfit yesterday, so you’ll have to be satisfied with just the shoes:

They are the Rag & Bone Berkane sandals and I got them at OtteNY with another of my Refinery29 RESERVE deals Just to clarify what that means, I earned $25 for each person who signed up and bought a deal through my Refinery29 RESERVE links and I had enough to purchase two deals, one for $500 (that’s the one I used to get the 3.1 Philip Lim bag) and one for $200 – that I used to get these sandals.

I have to hesitate a little when I tell you that they’re worth $375 and that I recommend buying them RIGHT NOW, because when I first saw them, they looked like something I might be able to find vintage or thrifting. And actually, my Kurt Geiger platforms I recently got from a Designer Consignment store are similar but the footbed isn’t padded and the leather isn’t as soft. I know, I know…suffer to save a bit of money, but I’d rather not if I don’t have to. So I will tell you that these are 100% worth $375 if you can afford it. But you don’t have to pay full price; Shopbop will have a code soon, and they’ll go on sale eventually – if you can wait. Honestly, what makes these a great pair of shoes is the padding in the footbed – CRAZY comfortable. I slipped them on the moment they arrived at my door and wore them shopping for several hours without a problem. That hardly ever happens.

Anyway, easy for me to say buy them when I didn’t have to pay for them, but in my life I’ve paid more than $375 for shoes that were good, but not great, and I feel like I know of what I speak. These are great shoes. If platform sandals are your thing, these are the ONE pair you’ll want to wear all Summer…Trust me!
