Outfit: Repellant

wearing: Girbaud skirt (secondhand) | James Perse tee | Korkease Shoes | Chains (secondhand, no brand) | Jas M.B. bag

I chose this picture so you could appreciate the FULL on man-repelling view of my harem skirt ;) It’s SO voluminous!!

I got the Korkease sandals via Rue La La (using credit) a few weeks ago and this will be my first time wearing them out. I always like them when I see others wearing them, but never really wanted a pair because I don’t really like the criss cross straps near my toes, but when they popped up for about $40 I decided to give them a try. They are very comfortable generally, although they make that leather noise when I walk – you know that noise? Or maybe they’re not even leather. I don’t know. And I wish the toe wasn’t so rounded. I don’t like them with this skirt as much as my Sergio Rossi wedges, but these are easier to walk in :)

Perhaps the skirt is man-repelling, but it’s definitely Laurel-attracting.

I’ve been wanting to try the Korkease shoes -I’ve heard some great things about them. I agree with Laurel; what may be man-repelling is definitely fashion blogger- attracting!

after wearing the shoes today, i can definitely recommend them – they’re really comfortable to walk in, although i did get a lot of rubbing/chafing from the straps.
they would be a good addition to your wedge wardrobe :)

I don’t think the skirt is man-repelling, its very flattering on you actually. Its very different, non-typical and I like it a lot!
