There. I did it. Posted a picture of me in shorts on the blog. I still don’t know if I’m ready to wear them out in “public” yet though. Interesting, isn’t it. Many more people see me here than will while I’m “out,” but the act of actually wearing these, and walking in them around other people frightens me. It’s a LOT OF LEG I’m showing here. I did wear them to walk the dog yesterday and I’m pretty sure I’ll wear them on our family vacation in a couple weeks; I’m easing my way into them, okay? 😉

Loft is doing a 40% off code now, which is why I went ahead and took the plunge with these. I tried them on a while ago when I went to try on this jumpsuit (cute, but would be really sticky around the legs in this heat!). And since I NEVER EVER pay full price, I waited, and snagged them yesterday for $30 each instead of $50. I also got a black pair, but they show wrinkles really easily, so I’m not sure how often I’ll wear those compared with these.

I also have the AG boyfriend shorts coming that I ordered from Gilt a while ago, I cant’ wait to see how those fit. Zara also had a great pair in a nude/blush color with cuffs that I’m still considering getting. Look at me…now I can’t get enough of shorts!! (I must have fallen and hit my head…)

Speaking of Zara, their sale started today, and I highly recommend this sweater and this top. I don’t have them, but I’ve tried them on, and they’re in my cart.
