Since seeing the A.P.C. parka & then Nanashi’s Etsy find Army Jacket, I’ve been thinking about one for myself. Honestly, I’d been thinking about a jacket of the army surplus sort for quite some time, but it wasn’t until I made it to the Madewell store today that I decided I needed one. I think the Madewell Army Jacket was a good choice for me because it’s not oversized – it’s more fitted – and since I’m quite oversized lately, I don’t need anymore oversized pieces in my closet. I like all the little details like the inside tie waist, the metal buttons and the worn-in material. Besides the fact that the A.P.C. parka is WAY out of my price range, I really didn’t want a hood….
I’m wearing it with a James Perse sirt, LnA tee shirt, TOMS shoes and Alexander Wang Diego Bucket bag.
What do you think about it? Is it “me?”

i love how the model is styled in hers on the runway, with the bright pop of lipstick…and you look soooo comfy in your JP and the madewell jacket. will you consider accessorizing with a pop of lipstick too?

i LOVE the lipstick…on the model. honestly, i’ve never tried bright lipstick, so i have no idea, but nevertheless, it scares the crap out of me!! makeup in general scares me…
but maybe i’ll try. i was also thinking of doing bangs again…
