Speaking of fashion rules…I generally don’t do two asymmetric, “flow-y” pieces together (I got it intending to wear it with this skirt), but that’s exactly what I LOVE about this outfit. It’s casual and deconstructed – both skirt & top are substantial, so they drape beautifully, and I can feel the movement when I walk. It’s kind of fun!
The top is another piece sent by Karen Kane for me to review, and I’m so pleased with it. The neckline is more of a boat neck on me than the model, which I actually prefer, and love. It’s a really easy top to wear, lending an “effortless chic” vibe to any outfit. Doesn’t hurt that it glides smoothly over my hips and hides any bumps either…Oh, and it’s 20% off with code grechen2012 if you’re interested!
**edited to add: I addressed this in the comments, but I forgot to mention that I got a size medium, and it fits great, except that I have extremely flabby upper arms and it’s a bit tight there since it’s dolman-sleeved, but not enough to worry about or size up for…
You look great!
I think the flowy top + flowy skirt combo is good!

What size did you get your tunic in?
oops! sorry i didn’t mention that! it’s a medium. which fits perfectly, except i have flabby upper arms, so it’s a bit tight there since it’s a dolman sleeve, but not enough to size up 😉
