James Perse Mixed Media pants (2) | I bought mine on sale –
here’s a black pair at Shopbop for 15% off
Beklina alpaca sweater (s/m)
Nicora vegan (kind leather) clogs
These JP pants have been my favorite purchase the last several months. I bought them for less than $100 when they went on sale at Shopbop in a size 2, which is bigger than what I would buy if I wasn’t pregnant, and I wear them 3-4 times a week. There is a black version still available at Shopbop in sizes 1 and 2, and would be 15% off with code GOBIG19. The code is valid on items marked “KEY STYLE” through 3/2: 15% off orders over $200, 20% off orders over $500 and 25% off orders over $800.
I didn’t save any of my Shopbop credit to spend on this sale, but I usually do and stock up on what I want for spring/summer, which usually includes a lot of James Perse. Earlier this month I spent my money on the drama maxi dress by Raquel Allegra, which is now sold out, and I’m not sorry at all. It’s at the tailor today being shortened, but I’ll get it back before the Shopbop sale is over and post a “real” picture or two.
The colorway I bought is sold out, but I also love the charcoal/white tie-dye version that’s available now. I will say I ordered the size 1, and the second I tried it on at home, I knew I would wear this dress a ton. My only caveat, and it’s a big one, actually, is that it’s 50% cotton 50% polyester. This combo makes the fabric incredibly soft and ever-so-slightly stretchy, BUT it will pill over time. And yeah, polyester. I’m not crazy about it, but I’ll wash it in my guppyfriend bag and hopefully catch any microfibers in the wash, and I don’t ever foresee tossing this dress in the garbage, so I’m okay with it.
A quick mirror selfie I sent to my dad after it arrived. He REALLY wanted me to get this dress LOL
A few more things I’m loving right now at Shopbop:

I’ll post more of my favorite things at Shopbop tomorrow, but I’m a little pressed for time today – have a doctor’s appointment to get to!
That is so cute that your dad is feeling invested in your dress choices 🙂 I love this dress! I like that it is a flowy boho dress but with 3/4 sleeves. I feel much comfy in sleeves as I get older but many of these types of prints are either sleeveless or too beachy in style. When you get tired of wearing it out, it would also be lovely as a house dress. Most of the items I wear at home or to sleep are just older jersey items that I used to wear out. If you ever find your way to vacay in Hawaii, this is also a great dress for an island trip.
I think those are the pants that I already own. I’ve gained a bit of weight so they are tough to pull on over my hips currently but once I get them on, very comfy.
Ooooo!!! You got that gorgeous dress! I loved that when you first featured it. So cool that your dad really wanted you to get it. My dad wouldn’t notice unless it had a mallard Duck attached to the front!
