wearing: Long Green Skirt (thrifted by Sydney) | Equipment Top | Rachel Comey clogs | Candace Ang necklace
I’m not really wearing this today, I just wanted to snap some pictures and get input about this skirt. Can you see it? Is it bright enough? Sydney thrifted it and thought I would like it, so I brought it home to play with. I do like it, the color is pretty, but so bright. And it is very polyester-y. VERY. Can you tell? And if I keep it, I’ll have to have it altered a bit, taken in at the waist and maybe shortened a little?
What do you guys think? Keep? or sell at hunt.gather.style?

Ok I love this skirt. The shape and the color are absolutely gorgeous and flattering on you. However….. will you wear it?? I know you are working very hard right now to create a wardrobe of thoughtful pieces that you want to wear, and to be honest (like I’m ever not honest) I don’t think you’ll wear this because of the bright color. I wish you would because it’s so lovely on you, but in the long run I think it might end up taking up space in your carefully curated closet. Check out that awesome alliteration

cathy- you are absolutely right. will i wear it is the question…and the answer is probably not. although…i should have a few “fun” pieces in my closet, just to wear every once in a while. this could be the one

I agree with Cathy and Sydney. I think it’s a lovely skirt, but I’m having deja vu about your long pink skirt that was also lovely, but I believe got the axe in a closet pare-down. I say, sell it.
Whoa…Leo is really responding to this. Maybe you should keep it for that reason alone! Otherwise, I think I’m in agreement wiht Cathy, Sydney, Jennipher: If you don’t really think you’ll wear it, you probably won’t. And I thought of the infamous “pink skirt incident,” too. lol….
i love how it’s now an “incident” LOL – you guys are all right, it’s pretty, but i think it’s more lust than love

Fabulous color and I love the pleats but the verdict seems to be in and I have to agree, if you won’t wear it then it’s just taking up valuable closet space!
