I am not only really hard on myself when things don’t work out exactly as I’d hoped, I also make things WAY harder for myself than they really are. Or should be. I could win a prize, I swear.
But I did make things a little easier on myself today by scheduling new arrivals ahead of time at slowre (why the f didn’t I do that before??), so I’m heading in the right direction. Now, I’m going to make them harder by doing a second round of new arrivals on Saturday LOL. No, it’ll be fine. Good, even. I hope that some people who miss out the things that go fast during the week can catch a break on Saturdays. I know I can’t please everyone all the time, but if I can be more accommodating, I certainly will try.
Speaking of slowre, I had two True & Co basic scoop bras come through recently (the black one is still available) and of course I tried them on and ended up buying one for myself. I had also been looking for a skin-colored bra I could wear under my white tees because I had to finally THROW AWAY (literally, it was barely hanging on by a thread) my most favorite skin colored bra I’ve had for ten years. So, I am wearing the True & Co scoop bra in “dulce,” size xs under this shirt. Can you see it? I didn’t think the XS would fit, but it does (I’m generally a 34b) and it’s comfortable. I will say it’s hotter than my usual bralettes and it comes up a bitter higher than I like generally, but it was secondhand, and it serves my needs well. Liz from Elizabeth Suzann mentioned these bras as her favorites once in stories…if that matters…haha.
And these Beek sandals are so wonderful! I don’t wear them much anymore; I tend to prefer more support and a platform lately, but I could never get rid of them. They’ve held up really well the last couple of years, and are perfect when I want something a little more “sleek” LOL. FYI, these sandals DO have arch support, which makes them wonderful to walk in, I just always default to my Birkenstocks…
