No, I’m not doing housekeeping in this outfit, but I have spent a major part of this week working on updating posts, fiddling around with graphics and such here on Grechen’s Closet, and updating the Facebook Page with new images and posts. I have really neglected Facebook for the most part, because I don’t use it personally (I’m more active on Twitter), but lately I’ve begun to see that Facebook is much more “rich” and engaging, so I’m really trying to get more involved. If you already “Like” Grechen’s Closet on Facebook you’ve probably seen the updates, but if you don’t, I’d love it if you’d take a look and let me know what you think! (I posted an “outtake” of today’s outfit picture there)

I’ve also made more of an effort to do more pinning (on Pinterest LOL). You can visit Pinterest to see my latest pins, but I’ve also added a widget to my sidebar (all the way down at the bottom) so you can see the latest ones without leaving the site. I need more people to follow, so if you’re on Pinterest please leave a note with your username in the comments so I can follow you!!

I’m also back on Instagram (grechen is my username) after a long hiatus…here’s a closeup of my necklace I took and posted there, also worked on trying to get a new “headshot” since all of my photos are long outdated.

    I was happy to see you pop up on my Instagram feed today! It is definitely my social media of choice these days and could work well for Grechens Closet- maybe you could post shopping finds, quick outfit pics, etc.?

    i used to use instagram a lot – almost too much LOL, but stopped – maybe i was overwhelmed? i did love it though, i really enjoyed the interaction there. glad to be back!!

    Sometimes I think taking care of social media is tougher than maintaining the blog itself. Perhaps this is why PR and marketing peeps are paid extra? But usually when I’m in my socmed mode, I only focus on one thing and forget about the other (bad habit I know). Definitely thinking of growing my socmed though.

    Glad to hear that you’re using Facebook more! I like it because it allows me to keep up with friends that I don’t see very often. And I tend to use Twitter more just for contests, etc.

    Am so glad you’ve taken a renewed interest in your FB page. I took advantage of the generous Azalea code and got a new Rocco in Thunder, a Pamela Love cuff and some cute Catbird earrings.

    Once I was done with that site I visited your blog and was so inspired by the Eileen Fisher harem pants I went and got those today too!
