Speaking of slouchy pants…I went to H&M and Zara yesterday to see if I could find a pair to hold me this summer and ended up with these H&M harem pants ($17). I tried on the Zara pants I posted, but they weren’t great.
I love my harem pants, but let me just say that no, they are not flattering. They’re chic, and very comfortable, but definitely not flattering. And I won’t wear them without something covering my behind, because they’re 100% viscose and just a little sheer; I’m not willing to take a chance on baring my butt! They’re fun to wear, and would be cool for summer, and may entice me to get a more substantial pair when I reach my goal weight, and have more money. For now, they make me happy 🙂 A commenter yesterday also mentioned that she loves this uniqlo pair – they might be worth a try also. If you’re into harem pants, that is 😉
i LOVE harem pants – but TRUE harems – i love the comfort and boho-ness about them – i have a few pairs that i would neer part with!

I’ve never tried the Harem pants… they look a little dodgy to me – definitely a man repelling item. It’s funny you should say they’re not flattering – I thought they looked very slimming on you! Or maybe whatever you’re doing is working!

From this photo I would disagree. I think they are very flattering, especially as styled with the white tee and the long pale sweater.
