In addition to my ATX Ladies who Lunch lunches, we have Happy Hours every month so the ladies who can’t come to lunch have an opportunity to meet with us in the evening. Last night we went to Paggi House, which has an amazing patio, with lots of trees, couches and comfy chairs to sit around and chat in. And the weather was PERFECT!!! Not cold, but not warm, JUST RIGHT. So I was really excited to pull out my Madewell jacket I bought earlier this year:

Oh, and I made that soup last night. Mike loved it! My peas got all mush and made the soup thick. It was good, but what did I do wrong?

did you use split peas? or a different kind of peas? i don’t know, i’ve never had my split peas get all mushy…it doesn’t exactly sound bad though, i think a thicker soup would be nice…
