It’s HOT here today; almost 90. But even though I was concerned that this Gap skirt was a little too short for me to wear with out tights, I wore it anyway. And it was very comfortable & cool, if a bit big around my waist. I felt like I should have had a belt on (I like this one), to define my waist better, and keep it from falling down to my hips…
In reality, I wore my Melissa flat thong sandals out to run errands today, but they’re not as pretty as my No6 clogs
– I’m also carrying my new J Crew tote, which so far, I love – the price was perfect, and it’s really easy to carry. The tee is by James Perse, and I’m wearing my Lauren Wolf fangs necklace.

So, what color did you get? Did it come in a print? The ones left on the website are black or navy only from what I can tell.
Do you find that viscose stretches a bit too much? It makes it difficult to decide which size to buy, since I am often between sizes.
the print is black/gray/white and red-ish, i never saw it on the gap website.
i don’t think it stretches too much, but if you’re between, i’d say size down. i could have sized down to fit my waist better, but the skirt would have been a little snug in my hips….i love the feel of the material.
It’s really cute. I looked for the “perfect” skirt all summer, but there was always something wrong: too expensive, too short, too old-ladyish….etc. So I never did buy one. Maybe next summer. I think it was me… : (
