It’s going to be 90 degrees today.
I don’t want to be cold, but I’m tired of the heat. It makes me tired. But I’m happy for the sunshine.
That is all 🙂
I hope you’re getting a little relief wherever you are! I’m anxious to wear the socks I bought from Hansel from Basel. (Who am I??)
Love everything about this – especially the shoes! Have been tempted by that top but I already have it in raw silk (and yes, I’m wearing it today). Don’t really need it in the cotton as well. 🙂
We’re having crazy weather in the UK too. I’m staying at my sister’s for the week (who lives 400 miles away from me). She told me to pack warm stuff, but now I’m here it’s warm and sunny and I’m overheating in jumpers. Just wish the weather would make up its mind! I’m desperate to get fully into my cold-weather wardrobe, I much prefer cozy jumpers over summer dresses!
Central NC just had its 4th warmest September in recorded history. Joy? It was 88 yesterday and up to 90 today and over 80 at least for the near future. Ugh. At least it cools a little in the evenings? But not enough to open the house up. This is when I really miss New England in the fall….
I’ve still put away white dresses & linen from my closet (it *is* October, and I can be super traditional in a few ways – white & linen in the “wrong” season are part of my issues). I put away most of my pastel dresses last week too. So, I’m down to pretty much black 🙂
Garden is dying though, because I’ve given up on watering, so I’m hoping it’s cool enough this weekend to do more clearing….
It’s finally cooler here — the high is 67 today, which is right in my sweet spot. 😉
That said, I’m more focused on cold weather clothes and I’m a little obsessed with these shoes. But if I was feeling like $300 was too much for a pair of clog booties these are definitely out of my budget.

Feit’s shoes are amazing, but expensive…those and the boots especially OMG. they are numbered, though, and I got a card with the name/signature/photo of the person who made my shoes 🙂
i got them with credits at garmentory though, i’m not sure I would have bought them otherwise? although i do love them…
