Here’s a look at the new slouchy v-neck sweater by Everlane (I’m wearing a medium). It’s not technically a dolman sleeve, but it is “slouchy” so the sleeves are cut lower, and the shoulder seam is a little wider on me. And you can tell there is room around the waist and hips so it drapes slightly, rather than sits on my hips. I love it.

The slouchy style is much less “classic” than last year’s crew neck (which I also have), but I find it much more comfortable. Easier to wear…

As I mentioned in my post Monday featuring the Everlane tunic, their cashmere tends to be a little itchy in the beginning, but does soften up with wear. I notice it when I first put it on, and then after a while, I don’t feel anything. It’s probably not the best for sensitive skin though.

Is the neckline finished with ribbing?

they are just a little bit stretchy (just enough, not too much, in my opinion!). i took my true size because of my legs/larger calves, so they’re not TOO slouchy, but if you don’t have very thick legs, they’ll look more boyfriend-y than they do on me…

no, the neckline is actually not “finished” with ribbing, which I prefer; it gives it a more casual look i think!

Oh man!!! I love that sweater on you. Those are the kind of sweaters I LIVE in. I keep on buying the same thing because I feel like they work so well on my slightly Apple-shaped figure, and the vee lengthens my neck (Whatever happened to my neck?!? I swear I used to have a long one, but tension has moved my shoulders to just below my ears!!!) 🙂
