Everlane Cashmere boyfriend cardigan (size medium)

Happy Friday! I got my second Everlane order yesterday, and here are my initial thoughts on the Cashmere boyfriend cardigan:
1. I got a size medium, because I want it to be able to fit after I lose weight. I would have been disappointed if I wanted it to be at all oversized on me RIGHT NOW, because it’s not. It fits nicely, but if you want more of an oversized boyfriend fit, take your normal size – or whatever size fits your hips.
2. The cashmere is just a teeny bit itchy. Not so much I can’t wear it, or that it’s uncomfortable at all (I really don’t notice it the more I wear it, just at first when I put it on), but it is different from Inhabit’s thicker, softer cashmere. It’s also lighter-weight, more like VKOO’s cashmere, which I appreciate. This will be a great cardigan for traveling, or bringing with me to restaurants, etc., in the summer and I won’t suffocate because I’m too hot.
3. The price ($120) is good, but it’s comparable to Inhabit’s cashmere on sale/sample sale, so it’s not REALLY that much cheaper, but Inhabit doesn’t tend to carry such simple styles and slouchier fits, so Everlane is a great alternative.
Overall, I’m very pleased. I’m an Everlane convert for sure, and I look forward to ordering lots more things – next on my list is a tote, and a french terry sweatshirt (as IF I need more sweatshirts). The shipping was speedy this time, and the whole process is really easy. Oh, an I got another v-neck tee in black, and went down to a size medium – I like the fit much better on me. There’s still a little room in the waist, but not much, and it fits better everywhere else.
Now for a bit of housekeeping – thanks to everyone’s feedback, I’m going to work on adding a forum here, and more comprehensive brand pages for reference. But Lisa mentioned twitter, and I’d love for all of us to follow each other on twitter also – if you’re on twitter – for quick updates, etc. When I was at Last Call on Wednesday, I tweeted with a picture that I found a blue/polka-dot Jerome Dreyfuss Billy Bag for $249. If you’re interested in getting quick updates or answers to questions, please follow me on twitter, I’m always there!
And if you’re up for it, please add your twitter handle in a comment below, I’ll follow you, and so will other Grechen’s Closet readers – It’ll be fun π
Have a great weekend!!!!!

I’m @Grecoatlsj
Thanks for the update Grechen. I find it particularly helpful when you compare brands as you did here. It’s great to have a reference point for comparison or just to know the difference between fabrics from brand to brand. Thanks. And the outfit looks great!
Yay!!! To paraphrase Sally Fields, “I have friends!” π
@Mamavalveeta03
Oh, and I was so excited about having friends that I neglected to comment on your post. I think the sweater size actually looks great on you–It fits in the shoulders and looks perfect, really. I am totally convinced if YOU like the tees! I’m going to try them out. (And, FYI, I bought the VINCE citrine/lime boatneck tissue cotton long sleeve tee at Saks Off 5th and I love it! I’m getting to the V-neck in geranium, eventually!)
i’m “tiptoebutterfly” on twitter and well everything else – i’m gonna try the Everlane t’s since were both JP fans – so i’m gonna give em’ a try :o)
